INSIDE THE TAROT
The archetypal images and symbolism accurately point out individual strengths, tendencies, and direction, as well as fears, challenges and obstacles in all facets of life. We all go through similar cycles and stages of development. We all experience the highs and lows of daily living. The big secret is that no matter if you’re high or low, the rare and priceless gift is Life itself. We’re here. We’re doing it, being it, living it and at our best, we’re loving it!
The Tarot can guide and suggest, encourage and support. It can also show us where we are self-sabotaging, close-minded, or limited. It is here that we have the greatest opportunity for growth and liberation. Our shadows, which most of us try to hide even from ourselves, are not to be feared. They are untapped potentials which become a valuable source of strength and vitality when we accept their existence and lovingly work with these unfamiliar aspects of ourselves.
The transformation that occurs with awareness and acceptance of ourselves is true empowerment. Our joy is fuller, deeper and more contagious. Our relationships are more loving, fulfilling and passionate. Our jobs or careers become more satisfying and rewarding. Our bodies are lighter, more energized, vibrant and healthy. All because we choose awareness. We choose to learn, to know, to understand who and what we are in Life. The Tarot is just one tool among many that enables us to develop self-awareness and personal empowerment.
WHAT TO EXPECT FROM THE CARDS
When faced with difficult choices, or when handling stressful situations or relationships, the Tarot can be a powerful advisor. The images that come up may point out unknown, underlying motivations or tendencies in play. And, they suggest practical solutions or paths to take that are unique to the Seekers needs. The cards also provide clarity during confusing or chaotic emotional states.
Readings frequently offer support and encouragement to our own Innate Wisdom by confirming that which we already know on some level but may not have the confidence to act upon. We often receive answers to the questions, What is being asked of me? What is the best use of my energies? What do I need to know right now? What can I expect in this situation or with this person?
By asking these questions, with the intention of serving our Highest Purpose, we open ourselves to receive the best possible outcome or answer. It may not be what we expect or imagine, but it always turns out to be exactly what we need.
